"Woke" is not evolving...it's pandering

For generations, when you heard the word "woke", what you heard next was the obvious...

...I woke up.

That's pure common sense. It's the only logical way to use that word.

Then again, this world has become far from logical.

In the past 3-4 years, the word "woke" has a disgusting and hateful connotation...one meant to bring people to their knees if they don't bow to the mob.

The "new" definition of "woke" is this. Cue the roll eyes.

"Alert to injustice in society, ESPECIALLY racism".

The problem with that definition is that true injustice was clobbered out of existence generations ago, and to every perceived victim. The 19th amendment was passed by Congress on June 4, 1919, and ratified on August 18, 1920. This admittedly solved only half the injustice, however, as only white women were given the right to vote. The other half of that equation was solved with the civil rights act of 1964, which prohibited discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, and it also worked to desegregate schools. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 happened after three voting rights activists were murdered in Mississippi.

For all the controversy surrounding equal pay, the equal pay act of 1963 made it illegal to have wage differences in any company based on gender. Any wage differences have come from women making the decision to leave the work force and be a mother. That said, more women are in board rooms, are CEOs, presidents, VPs, and other high end positions than in any other generation, and this trend will continue.

Each and every single thing I mentioned was an injustice that was properly solved over many years, but the "woke" epidemic keeps people silent on these facts in order to rewrite history. George Orwell's 1984 had a specific quote that describes "woke" to a T.

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right".

Black Lives Matter gained, but lost traction, when they marched on behalf of criminal behavior. They gained it all back when a pompous, arrogant bully named Derek Chauvin put the knee on the back of a drugged up George Floyd for nine minutes and killed him. There was no rhyme or reason for that behavior...Floyd was in a stupor and incapable of violence. If he was handcuffed and simply placed on the ground, he most likely would have passed out. Counter that with the detestable rednecks that chased down and shot Ahmaud Arbury and BLM found their argument.

The issue is not BLM's right to protest. Every single American has the right to protest under the Constitution. The issue are the marxists that are gaining power within the organization, and in DC. Cori Bush took her BLM protests to the US House of Representatives, and now she's polluting the country with language like "Birthing People's Day" instead of Mother's Day to troll the world with her "woke". Patrice Cullors took her power and made millions, using Marxism to take advantage of Capitalism. Don't think for a second she can't get into the House. All it takes is a district. Ask AOC and the rest of her Low-IQ squad. They wouldn't have shoehorned into our government any other way.

Here is the thing though...no one is taking Cori Bush out in that district in Missouri. No one is taking AOC out in hers, no one is taking Rashida Tlaib out in hers, and on and on. Forget those thoughts. What has to be done is getting people elected that will take the fight to them without the thought of walking on eggshells. Right now, the far left is showing they want to get bloody, but it's easy when the other side takes it and asks for more.

The whole right has to stomp on the eggshells and grind them under their boots. They have to get the message of God, family, flag, and the idea of hard work being the catalyst to success in the American Dream...and that is for EVERYONE. We once were geniuses at getting that message out there. Somewhere along the line, we got scared.

Fear has to go. The country's at stake
